Beautiful. It was hard for me to see John Sheppard disheartened and down on himself (full-time) anywhere. I wanted to see him get plucked from that. I, too, wanted him to touch the chair...to realize his potential. The first time I watched the episode I felt that he died at the end which was just too depressing. The second time I watched it, it hit me that he didn't die on screen. I do believe he survived even if we didn't get to see the rescue. Love John Sheppard. Thanks for this story.
