Thank you so much and for the rec :D. I love writing tension and action; it’s the believability factor that I'm always very self conscious of that gives me problems. This was a fun prompt and it gave me an excuse to write John using his military skills. I’m a huge fan of h/c, but sometimes that saddles John into this‘wooby role’ too much and I wanted to see the John of the show on his feet, struggling yes, but still being a solider trying to protect his people. Even though it was Sheppard focused, I still wanted the team in this and I'm glad you enjoyed their banter and support.
