So, it looks like Joe Flanigan is really on Twitter? The WormRiders confirmed it. I'd like to see Jace Hall or David confirm it too, but it looks legit.

I joined Twitter about a year ago and I think I've tweeted (twitted?) once - to my sister to let her know I'd done it, after she demanded I join. I'm a lurker, which is apparently legal on the internets. I'm beginning to think of Twitter as legalized stalking.

I think we may get a whole new view into Joe and his personality.

I joined in order to keep up with Joe's work.I figure he'll tell his 'followers' whatever he wants:-P It's good PR for him and now I don't have to rely on con reports for tidbits.

I don't even know how to tweet :-P

It's been fun watching it climb and to think he won't know until he gets off his flight.

Not long, I would imagine. Wish I were on Twitter. It will be fun to follow him online, though. SOOOOO...he's filming a movie in Ireland with Jason?? What is that about? I hope he leaves more crumbs for us to follow. -Diane

There's been no real news about what Joe and Jason are doing in Ireland, figured they're hanging out until something else is mentioned.

Oh wait. So the tweeting is done via the internet, not necessarily phone, unless your phone has e-mail? I had no idea. Clueless here. I might join just to follow JF. Is that sad, or what? I don't think any of my friends are on twitter. I'm not the tweeting type either. -Diane

I was skeptical until Jace tweeted. "Joe" said he'd post a pic as soon as he figure how....I'd love David to confirm just to be sure, but I guess I'm wondering why Jace would support an impostor?

So I figure there will be a little competition between Joe and David for number of followers on Twitter. Joe has a ways to go to take over David's nearly 28,000 followers, but I think he can do it. -Diane

I find it oddly endearing that he hasn't quite figure out there's a length limit yet. And he's already using net speak!

I was convinced it wasn't him, but if Jace says it is...and I hear Rainbow confirmed it too.

I made a tweet to him, but after that, I'm going to stick to following and lurkdom. I can't imagine how many he's going to get the first week :-P

I was still doubtful until Jace said something. Part of my keeps thinking that the show he';s working on might be getting closer to the light of day..why else is he doing so many cons and now he joined twitter? Would be a good PR/business move on his part..or I could be totally reaching.

Assuming it is legit, and it sounds like it is, Joe's tweets should be pretty enlightening. He's so honest and open, which I love. His followers continue to grow steadily. 242... Can't wait to see what the number is this time tomorrow. Go Joe go! Can't wait to hear what he's filming in Ireland. I'm anxious to see him in a project soon. -Diane

I'm thinking now that if Jason is having to re-shoot parts of a Game of Thorns, maybe Joe got a small part in it? Would die if it was a whole new project.

You join via the internet and can follow on the web or get tweets to your cell phone as long as it can connect to the net is the best that I understand.

Interesting. I don't do the tweet thing. Heck, I don't even have a cell phone (not social enough and barely leave the home, so...). But still interesting. I look forward to it if it means updates on any projects he's working on.

Hee! Well David Hewlett has as good as confirmed it now (he tweeted Joe 9 mins ago) so I jumped in. 347 followers and still rising.

I'm 390. I'm sure Joe's list will soon be as long, if not longer than David's! I bet they're competing with each other over this.

I'm h appy to say I'm follower #15 or so on Joe ;) I decided, you know, if it turns out to be a fake, I just unfollow. And it was 14 last night, 900+ this morning. Once Jace confirmed, that's all it took!
