It looks like Jason won't be in Chicago. David and Joe are still confirmed and I know David's not filming anything at the moment and Joe's project wraps up next week, so no worries there.

Thank you vecturist for the heads up.

But it was all three of them! I'll get over it, but I really thought this would be my only chance to see Jason. It'll free up time from what I imagine would have been a CRAZY Saturday with Shanks, Joe, Jason and David, but I'm a little disappointed.


Will still have a great time!! I'm still excited, but wasn't expecting this.

August 11, 2010: We have been advised by Jason Momoa's convention rep that due to work commitments he is unfortunately unable to make his contracted appearance with us at the convention. We wish Jason well and hope to have him join us the next time around. Those with separate Jason autograph tickets and/or photo ops can use these tickets as "cash" towards additional tickets, photo ops or Creation merchandise at the convention. Kindly bring your unused PDF tickets to registration (when there is no line) for a credit voucher.

I was hoping for a re-enactment of the mooning scene with all the players. I'm glad Jason is working, but this is a little disappointing after Vancouver. I'll still have fun and this con just got a little cheaper, but...

Waah!! I really, really wanted a pic with Jason and Joe. And just with Jason. Looks like I'll get a pic with Michael Shanks or David instead. I was so looking forward to a big hug!

Rats! How disappointing. I'm still bummed, after hearing about it last night. I was really looking forward to the concert, and seeing all three guys together.

Not sure if I'll do the Joe/David photo op, since I just did it in MN. I was going to get the trio shot, but maybe now I'll just get Joe's. I also found a pic of all three of them I was going to have them sign. Guess I can still have Joe and David sign it. *sigh*

I'm sure it will make Saturday less crazy, but it would have been a good kind of crazy. I'll bet Picardo does something for the Friday cabaret.

I don't blame Jason. I'm sure he'd come if he could. Just rotten timing, I guess. Maybe if we offered him Guinness and cigars?
