I lack the words

And if that wasn't enough, check out this display of fighting ability.

And yes, they are supposed to be that campy and bad. It's amazing the built-in audience these movies have :-P

OMFG

It's amazing these films ever got made.

[identity profile] kriadydragon.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
First snakes now sharks. Can't the poor planes ever get a break!:P

I can't decide if scene two is more like a bad workout video or bad video game. From the makers of Duck Hunt comes... Piranha Kicking!

[identity profile] tavabean.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Whaaaaaaaaaaa???
If this is the quality of Syfy movies, I am a bit apprehensive about Joe F's upcoming movie! uh oh....
(I'll watch it anyway)

I think my brain just broke.

What happened to the quality of a good B movie hosted by Elvira?

*cackle*

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
Mega Snake and Mega whatever are supposed to be this bad and campy. Those horrid films have that type of built in audience and do sadly, fairly well in the ratings.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
But people love them! sigh

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my, that's funny! Yeah, really bad Duck Hunt! The shark was just..oh...as I said, I have no words.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
I loved Elvira! And boy those movies were really bad!

I never missed her on Saturday nights when I was a kid.

Yeah, those movies were bad, but they had style. Total classics. :D

[identity profile] parisindy.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
hahahahahaha

[identity profile] coolbreeze1.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Hahahahaha... I needed a good laugh. The shark jumping out of the ocean and snagging the plane mid-flight... There really isn't much you can say in response to that.

Still laughing, and, wow - kind of have a headache now. I love the Duck Hunt comment above. Perfect!

[identity profile] rubygirl29.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
I love it! LOL. The shark jumping out of the water - Jaws, it ain't! And I don't care how awful Joe's movie is. I'll watch it just to see him. That alone would take it out of the "B" movie category.

David's movie? Not so sure about that one!

[identity profile] leoraine.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
WTF? I hope this was supposed to be a parody, something like Hot shots. ROFL

[identity profile] ninja007.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Again...why are they wasting money on making movies like this pile of s*#t?

Yes, the dude is hot, but it's not enough to make me sit through it and watch...

[identity profile] squonk79.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
"Holy shit" i think about sums those up...

I've got a million questions running through my head but really any kind of thought is overthinking these sort of films.

But someone has to make a Piranha Kicking game.

[identity profile] crashbarrier.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
pretty soon it will be "Mega Shark vs Python on a plane!!".. or possibly "Beep Blue Piranha" glub! glub! glub!:)..

seriously I think it must be cheeper to make these movies that people think.. perhaps they get money back from the insurance or something???

[identity profile] alipeeps.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Heeeee.

Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus keeps playing on SyFy here in the UK lately and hubby keeps finding it and turning to me with a big grin and I'm like, "NO!"

He's of the opinion it's "so bad it's good" whereas I just think it's BAD! Hubby particularly likes the scenes where they go and do sciencey stuff... which involves various flourescent liquids bubbling in test tubes and the *ahem* "actors" (and I use the term loosely!) looking serious as they pour one tube into another.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It's so very bad :-O

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
There is nothing more to add, is there? I mean....I am struck silent by the horror :-P

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)
David's movie I fear is along the lines of all the bad monster films like this. Joe's I'm thinking is a bit better based on the production company.

The titles alone, tell the tale :D

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
It's meant to be very bad, yeah. But still :-P

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Because a lot of people love these type of films and sadly it shows in the ratings. Just the drunk/high college students alone. *shakes head*

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol! The Piranha Kicking Game would be made of win!

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I'd watch those films! Just to see how awful they are.

They're cheap to make, and have good ratings. Perfect combo...than there's the DVD market and I can attest working at Best Buy for many years, that people do purchase these DVDs. Very cult-following.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh!

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2010-08-24 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I still haven't brought myself to watch "Stonehenge Apocalypse" to see Misha Collins, but when I do, it'll be because of the whole, so bad it's good notion :-p

*rubs her eyes* Holy cow! These are "real" movies? Holy cow!
