That was great! The action, the imagery, the tension. I really was on the edge of my seat - I'm not kidding. I was leaning forward, intent on every word. I loved your marines, so fleshed out in so few words. You managed to make them actual people rather than a bunch of extras there just for the sake of a body count. I love team Sheppard plus marines. And, as always, excellent whumpage :D I adore stories that go above and beyond just bullet wounds.
