Guh

I had a whole toughtful reaction post about last night's eppy, but I got so frustrated battling A03 in an attempt to post my big H50 fic that I've had on LJ for days now,(which is the same number of days I've fought that site--hence my anger) I've given up on anything that requires brain power.

There are so many amazing images from the season opener, being purely selfish, I decided to cap my favorite sequence and posted it below.

Fairing warning for pure hotness.

Steve in a police uniform should be illegal

oh gads.. *GUH* Those are marvelous. ;)

I liked the ep, though I felt like it was a bit rushed. H50 is a fast moving show, yes, but this moved too fast. Too much was glossed over and hit at a high level (like Kono being captured by Wo Fat, getting Steve off the hook, etc) I think this season premiere arc would've been really great if it'd been spread out over 2 episodes.

That being said, it was still a great watch! :D

It was pretty fast moving, not sure if the network would be cool with a two part opener. (Although a two hour premire would have been awesome!) I'm glad Steve was cleared, I'm not a fan of those type of plots.

Looks like Kono will be giving a nice arc trying to get her badge again. I could have sworn that Wo Fat was already wanted by the CIA so I was confused when Chin didnt arrest him, but when I get my DVDS I'll re-watch the season and see.

yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if network pressure was part of the equation. I'm very glad Steve was cleared it just felt... fast, considering all the buildup they put into place in the season finale to frame him in the first place. ;)

I do like Kono's arc, looks like we'll be seeing more of that in the next episode.

I think the CIA was trying to build a case of evidence against Wo Fat and didn't have enough rock hard proof to arrest him? Sort of a "we know it's you doing all of this, we just can't prove it yet," situation?

Hmm... can't remember. Might have to go back and look. ;)

In any case, I really enjoyed the premiere and look forward to this season! I'm glad they put a quick solution in place to the "Rachel" thing with Danny, but I didn't want to see that become a big story arc. Still hope it doesn't. I thought they struck the right balance with Rachel and Grace in the first season. :)
