Wow! This is the third time I've read this (I've read it on my tiny, tiny cell phone screen on the way to and from work) and it's still so very intense - maybe even more intense than reading it the first time.

You walk the fine line of dark/too dark very well. It was the exactly right amount of dark without being too dark.

This Danny and his POV? Perfect! I could feel his anger, his frustration, his pain and his guilt as if I was going through this.

This is an fantastic take on the prompt and a fic that I'll re-read very often.
