The last four of each of them laughing -- oh, man. Especially Grace. Especially especially Alex -- he looks like such a little boy there and I am seriously dying with love. I just want to wrap him up tight and never let him go, he's just so....so...*flail times infinity*

And then there's the way Steve looks in the one right above that sexy desktop scene -- is that from last year's finale? But whatever it's from, it's so totally why I think I may be clinically unable to live without STEVE IN MY LIFE now. And oh, geez, the one where he's closing his eyes and burying his head in his hand.... I was already half-unconscious from the one not far above that, with him in the blue shirt open at the neck, wearing a jacket, walking along all serious and everything (*want want want*), and then I get to the closing his eyes -- those eyelashes? -- and the expression on his face and the way he moves and I'm just totally completely done for.

Okay, that was Steve heavy, but who could blame me? :-P

(btw, I love your squee week thing -- I'm sorta gonna only try to jump in from the watching end and catch your posts if I can, since I've got so much stuff backed up I haven't even begun to catch up with, both RL and fannish. But you *rock* at squee, and you're so right, fandoms of all sorts need more squee!)

okay, me again. I just went to your tumblr and saw the series of gifs that end with "What if you're next? I'm not gonna watch someone I love die again!" Is that s1 finale stuff? Is that the actual dialog?

I'm dying here. I'm just totally dead. I think I stopped breathing five minutes ago. I think my Catch Back Up With Life plan just got shot in the gizzard -- I can't take my eyes off those gifs. Steve -- Danny -- STEVE-AND-DANNY, oh my sweet god...

But meanwhile, those faces, those expressions, those emotions -- I'm STILL not breathing. I may never breathe again. :-)

Yes, the b&w above the desktop scene is from the S1 finale. Lord. Watching him slowly unravel is a thing of angsty beauty. Hee. Yes, the Blue suit GQ gif melts me heart and knees. he's too good to be real!

There's a second one that goes with the gif of him burying his hands. OMG. He does that so well!

I'll make my goal of seven posts but it'll take me a couple of weeks or more. I'm bad with time,but mostly because I'm trying to finish both my case story and a one shot.

This this this. I haven't seen that ep, just this gif and some clips from other parts of the ep, but Steve -- I don't think any character/actor has ever hit me quite so low in the gut with the angst as Steve does. It is just the best thing ever, how he can do that.

I have to stop myself here. I think I could go on for hours; talking about -- thinking about -- looking at -- (drooling over) -- Steve is the hardcore good stuff. I've never been this helplessly besotted in a fandom before...

I hope your case fic is going well and the deadline isn't coming faster than you're ready for! (*anticipation*) And a one-shot too; Yay!!! I hope I haven't missed any of your fic lately with the way I've had to sort of jump back out of things only a few minutes after I try jumping back in in the first place -- I try to keep up a little with AO3 even when i don't get to LJ a whole lot, but that gets out of hand pretty easily too. I need to organize myself so much better, seriously...

"more time to play" -- heh, I don't know, It drives me crazy (and I handle it by losing track of things, which drives me crazier *rolls eyes*). If I can just get it together enough to catch up with some of the things I've been losing track of, that will help. Meanwhile, it makes me happy knowing that Squee continues to happen (I love that you keep your fannishness so positive; that always bouys me up :-)).

Wait what? You haven't seen S1's finale? OMG. That was such a heavy episode and oh, boy. It had great Steve angst. What am I going to do with you? :-P What else did you miss? Do I need to send carrier pigeons over with the DVD boxset?

My casestory is going well. I got it back from my first beta yesterday and began the editing process. I hope to complete those ever the weekend and send it to my second beta for a fresh set of eyes. My posting date is 6/11 so I've got room and yes, I might be just a little excited!!

I wrote Anchors (http://kristen999.livejournal.com/450603.html) a couple of weeks ago when I needed a break from the monster case fic, but for the most part I've been editing and trying to work on a one-shot that has fought me tooth and nail.

I hope you have time enough to squee with me and of course maybe write more, because I can never get enough of your fic!! :-P

Um, okay; attempting enough coherence to answer other stuff, in random order: TOTAL Yay for the case fic! I'm psyched! 6/11, huh? My life better not be too fraught on 6/11 or thereabouts to let me read the fic right away when you post it. *stern face at RL* -- *stern face also at the fic that's fighting you (stubborn fic is frustrating as all get out)*

You're such a sweetheart to say that. *blushes at you* I *want* to write more -- for right now I'm kind of in the place where if the idea for a fic kidnaps me and holds me hostage I'll end up helplessly screwing over the rest of my life and letting myself write that fic, but otherwise, I probably have to concentrate ('probably'? *understatement*) on RL and on a fic commitment or two from my other fandom, which I've been finding hard to wrap up because H5-0 has captured my soul...

Carrier pigeons, heh. Yeah, well, I didn't fall for H5-0 until the fanfic reeled me in last summer and I don't have a TV. I didn't start being able to watch eps on the internet until just before S-10 -- I think the first one I was able to watch completely was the one where Danny's staying at Steve's and we get the classic "Put your pants on, we're going to work" moment. I've seen every S2 ep since (and managed to download some of those when people've uploaded them to places that work okay with my slowish wireless); I've also seen the first ep of S2. S1 I only know through short clips I've found on youtube and through fanfic.

I'll catch up one of these days. :-) (I'm sorta in the place where spending anything on my fannish life, aside from whatever time I can manage, isn't on, so DVDs -- and carrier pigeons, heh -- get to wait for a bit. But it's surprising how many clips there are of good s1 scenes -- carguments, action scenes -- on youtube, and I've downloaded all those and made myself VERY happy.)

/longwindedness. :-) God, this show makes me happy, and when I'm happy I babble like an idiot *rolls eyes at self and apologizes for using up all the oxygen in the room* :-)
