I've just asked about that. I saw it on tumblr ages ago and asked and the person I asked didn't know where it actually came from. i couldn't recall it in any ep (think I'd have remembered - if I've blanked that out I worry for my sanity but its entirely possible).

But then the other day I was watching the extras on the blue ray and I watched all the various CBS promos and it was on one of those - when the voice over says 'Alex O'Loughlin' that's the shot they use.

Would love to know if its in an ep too.

Yeah its one of the promo's that CBS put out. There's about four or five of the short TV promo's on the blu ray (presume same on dvd) and then a longer online promo they did. It's one of the promo's and it's the shot they use as they intro the cast for Alex - pity it never seems to have made it into an actual ep! I'm sure we'd have remembered if it did :)
