Sandy

To those on my f-list who are in the path of Sandy, I hope you are safe. I'm in Buffalo and will brace for crazy wind and rain for the next 24 hours. Everyone please be careful.

Also Lenkov tweeted and said the new H50 eppy will be pushed back a week.

Take care everyone.

While it was thoughtful of CBS to do that for the ratings people on the east coast who might be without power, I was really looking forward to that ep!!

*grumbles*

On the bright side with the late fall start, we'll have far less repeats in the spring. But to be honest, as disappointed as I will be, it is the right call considering the massive effect of this storm.

Stay safe and I hope that it's over soon. :/ This thing looks very scary. :(

I guess I can go to bed early then. ;)

stay safe!

You stay safe too. We are in Central PA and it is heading straight for us. I hope by the time it gets to you it is a bit calmer. It is so BIG though, I bet you are already dealing with it.

Heh, it's 50 degrees and clear blue skies here in Wisconsin right now. My students were a little disappointed that we're not on the East Coast and hunkering down -- no, THEY had to come to school today. :D

Stay safe, Easterners!

:D

yeah, same here.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks hon. All hunkered down.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
I will.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Epp. Hold on, hon. I hope this is over fast.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks, sweets.

Thanks, babe.

Well you could send Steve regardless :)

We had Irene way up here last year and were without power for over a day and this one is bigger. It's already blowing like mad this far north and I will admit, I'm scared. For us, no power=no water and with 13 4-legged critters in the house, we're not easily mobile. I would ahve taken the ep to take my mind off it.

Be safe, everyone.

[identity profile] kristen999.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
Good luck hon!!! Hopefully this will end soon. Be safe.

[identity profile] abracah.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Seems to be slowing down. You guys are getting hit hard. I hope all is well with you.

[identity profile] greeneyes-fan.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I said! Why do we need more storm coverage? We need to watch Steve and Danny messing with each other, preferably someplace where it ISN'T storming right now.

Hang in there, you and the critters.

[identity profile] aries-taurus.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Phew. Here? it was nothing, unlike Irene. apparently the storm making landfall that much over land made the dirrerence for us Irene made landfall in Nova Scotia, which is further distance-wise but closer over land.

So the two humans and 13 animals here are all fine if a bit windblown

[identity profile] aries-taurus.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. We are thankfully fine.

[identity profile] aries-taurus.livejournal.com 2012-10-30 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes ! yes!!! I vote for that.

[identity profile] timespirt.livejournal.com 2012-11-03 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Glad they pushed it back, I didn't want to miss it.

I lost power early on Monday.

Hope you made out better than we did.

For me, no power until late Friday and no telephone or internet until today at 4PM. Cell phones were down (at least in my area) here until friday as well.
