Oh my god, I'm so in love with all of this. ♥ I loved the scene in the bathroom in the previous chapter, I could just feel the UST crackling between them.
I love love love the stuff about Steve being a robot and then Danny telling him he's not one. As soon as they started tying him up with his hands above his head and his feet barely touching the floor, I immediately thought of 2x10 and my heart hurt for him.
Other things I love, and sorry it's in list form: - Danny thinking about Chin and Kono and Steve when Vega said he wouldn't understand being part of a team who depends on one another, and having to tamp down on his emotions - Steve feeling guilty about lying to the SEAL team - Steve not having time to be lonely when he was active - Vega's story about Steve ripping the gun out of his hand and writing him up for it - Steve giving Torres time with the bomb even though he ended up getting chewed out for taking too long - Steve not taking well to being chewed out by superiors, since he's basically been in charge on his own for 2 years - Danny wanting to tape Hunt's words about Steve making up the rules as he goes along so he can play it on repeat in the Camaro :D - Danny wanting the robot cheetah for Grace ♥ - Steve helping Danny cheat with the rope
Ugh, and Danny not being able to check on Steve when he gets hurt. And Steve waking up, terrified that his 5-0 team had been hurt. MY HEART.
