I like the idea of a mob of just deranged people like in a horror movie...its just fun and scary..given there were only three of them trained to kill.

I've always believed that John wouldn't hide an injury..its just not him unless its a very, very odd case. I rather went with him being unaware in the heat of the moment and survival and not realize he was injured.
