I want to go home!
This is what happens when you're off for several days in a row. I have less than two hours left at work and I'm dying to leave. I have to clean my house, get my check cashed, and buy dinner. Speaking of food, I began a diet this week. Nothing too crazy, but I've never needed to go on one before and the cravings are killing me. (She says as she reaches for another glass of water).
Anyhow, tonight is

I'm excited. I don't watch much television, but I do enjoy SPN and I'm happy to have something to look forward to despite its darkish tones.
I see a new work request in my inbox, I should be able to kill an hour doing it :D

Did you hear that they got a write-up in Variety this morning?

Hell, even my husband was excited this morning. I woke up grumpy and he gave me a big smile and said "It's the big night for Sam and Dean!"

Try Truvia in something for solving a sweet tooth.
http://www.truvia.com/
I use it in coffee predominantly e.g. today when I met Sandy for coffee at New Seasons. Here at home I whip up a drink of instant coffee, 2% milk and a packet of Truvia. It is great and low calories and it solves craving.
Use Braeburn apples. I eat one after dinner at night which includes no starch. I read where it is best NOT to use any starch at night....just do it during the day
HOWEVER the biggest thing is make certain your breakfast is loaded. THAT is the biggest ploy against craving rest of day.
I eat old fashioned oatmeal, walnuts, raisins, 2% milk, and a packet of Truvia.
I no longer have day time cravings.........
I forget who it was who suggested that breakfast for shoving cravings out the door.
Sending you ********HUGS******** in the battle.

I’ve cut out all sodas, snacks, treats. (Which is tough when you work at a Whole Foods Co-Op, what we sale is organic and healthy, but our chefs are constantly leaving food out for us to try).
I drink a ton of water and cut down on the amount of juice I drink, going for unsweet tea. I added a multi vitamin to my diet for things I'm missing and I'm taking a cinnamon supplement to help covert the sugar I do take in
I don't drink coffee and when I do its maybe one cup all day.
I'm going for a big salad at lunch vs. a meat, a side, and a small salad. I have popcorn as a snack at home. I'm counting calories whereas I never did before.
I can't eat a big breakfast, stomach won't tolerate it, and so it's usually a peanut butter sandwich.
Thanks for the tips and hugs!!

And don't ask me how I'll feel on Monday -> first day of work after a 2 week vacation... I'm so not looking forward to it. :( I know I'll want to go home the moment I open Outlook and see the stack of paper on my desk... :(
Oh yes, the cravings - been there, done that, failed at it. :(
I dreaded a peek on a trailer and: *argh* *want to know what is up with (not saying here, don't want to spoil anybody)* It's the 100th episode, right?! WOW! Can't wait to see it (in a year or so *grumbles*)!

I know how you're feeling with the job. I just started my old job part-time. Where did all my time go? And really, I used to do this all day before? I've been spoiled these last couple of years with being able to just go to school, but alas, life must go on.
Good luck with the diet! I've been trying to diet (trying being the key word...hey, where'd that 42 oz bag of M&Ms come from? *ahem, now an empty 42 oz bag of M&Ms*). It's tough - so much of it for me is a psychological mind game. What? I can't eat that? Now I want it more than anything else.
Enjoy Supernatural tonight!!

Ouch, yeah going from student to student plus part time job really takes away the day! Do you work lots of short shifts or just 2-3 eight hour days? That can make a huge difference right there.
