Joe at Collectormania

It seems if you want to get more talk-time with Joe Flanigan, go see him at a huge freaking con where he gets swallowed up by a big stadium. I keep reading little reports of SGA fans that have been able to spend a decent amount of time talking to him. I'll post links once they have reports up.

I love that Joe is very honest about his feelings in regards to certain things on the show. Most actors go the PC route, but Joe doesn't.

i got to meet him at dragoncon last year, he had one of the longest lines for autographs and stuff but he was fairly chatty with everyone, he and paul even took time to mock my name which is 'Jo', both of them are super sweet. As are jason and Rachel, poor rachel takes a lot of teasing from those boys hehe

Didn't know how long his line was at Dragon Con. He really is a sci-fi icon, isn't he? I wouldn't' have thought it it with so many others, but he has become one. I really hope he gets his TV show off the ground that he talked about recently.

Kristen999, you rock! Thanks for posting this, what great guys JF and DH are, miss them so much, as do we all. It is nice to know that they really understand the fans and how much we enjoyed them and the show. I agree with JF...what kind of movie starts out with them in San Francisco...stupid producers.

d_odyssey and I had a similar experience at the Manchester Collectormania a few years back. We had quite a long chat with Joe, while he was signing a stack of photos - presumably to be sold off or something.

After all this time, I still haven't figured out how to get Joe to kiss me. *sigh* What am I doing wrong?? lol

My god, I love how real this man is. At the same time, given his willingness to be so completely non-PC about the producers just highlights that there were even more problems on that SGA set (from the producers) than I thought was all too obvious on screen. An absolute shame. *shaking head*

I hope Joe is on my tv screen again very soon!
