White Collar

Watched tonight's episode of 'White Collar'. Not sure.....

Hmmm, it seems like I might like it, but maybe picked the wrong episode to check out? The whole thing felt off-kilter by Mozzie. Is he a reoccurring character or supporting role? I was annoyed anytime he was on screen and felt like I was missing the chemistry between both leads because of it.

Really rubbed me the wrong way. I might give it another shot if this is not the norm. Did enjoy the humor and action and the rest of the cast.

By the math guy, you mean Mozzie? Well, I guess this ep didn't make much sense, or at least Mozzie's quirky nature didn't, if you didn't know the background, where its coming from. Mozzie is a regular but this is the first ep that focused heavily on him. Usually, he's Neal's go-to guy when he needs info or to forge something. He's also Neal's best friend and he would do literally anything for him. But he's the shows comic relief.

Yeah, Mozzi. It was 2:am and I was brain dead. I'll def give it another shot since this was am eppy focused on that character.

If you want to try out the show, then watch eps 101, 107 and 114, those are the best! Very character driven and mythology heavy.

Aaaaw, Mozzie. He'll grow on you. :)

Yeah, you kind of needed to really know the show to appreciate this episode. I felt this to be one of their funniest episodes. My mom and I were totally cracking up during the elevator scene.

Mozzie does grow on you. I was iffy about him at first but I really dig him now, to the point that if he ever left the show it wouldn't be the same.

Thought twin! Last night was the first episode I ever watched. Was feeling the same as you, especially in regards to Mozzie. Will give it another shot. The comments here helped. Thanks.

I've been reading these scifi book series called the Stainless Steel Rat by Harry Harrison that so reminds me of White Collar. Same premise, but contemporary.

I can't stop thinking about the books every time I see a commercial. I've been reading those books since the 70's.
