Joe Interview from Last Year

This was filmed in Van Con last year by Gateworld. Most people have seen it, but I stumbled upon in by accident again and re-watched it. Really enjoyed hearing his discussion on "Vegas' and especially his thoughts about how Sheppard changed from this solitary character from the start of the show, to one who had developed close friendships by the end. Also nice to hear how he approached portraying Sheppard.

Cool interview. I love how he describes how Sheppard evolved but was able to keep his feelings underwrap.
I think it made him a much more interesting character.
Thanks for posting it.........

Like Joe, I wish they had had the chance to do more
episodes like VEGAS. It was fascinating.

When he was given depth "Conversion" "Common Ground" Vegas", he was really allowed to shine!

I believe he said in another interview that they should have done more like VEGAS earlier.
He did indeed shine in Conversion and Common Ground.
At times the series lacked the type of depth that I really find appealing...........I think they were just moving in the right direction when they were cut off at the knees.

*waves*

I loved that interview. I hadn't seen it before. I really like hos he describes Sheppard and his view on his character. And I also wished they had done the Vegas episode earlier in the show, because there was so much potential there for more.

Joe seems like such a nice guy. I still can't believe that I'm going to meet him in november. My mind is boggling at the thought.

I love the fact he fought to 'bury' his emotions. There was no need for Sheppard to openly express how he felt with words, when his actions spoke volumes!

Ohhhh, you get to meet Joe! Remember to smile when he looks at you directly in the eyes. If possible, he's more handsome in person. :D
