That was very good - I loved the interaction between Bates & Ronon, loved the awkwardness with his brother, absolutely adored the Rodney scene and also loved the Teyla scene. Everyone was in character as far as I'm concerned!
In the episode's scene with Rodney and John it felt to me like Rodney might have been thinking of hugging John, but couldn't bring himself to do it. Just my initial interpretation, which I might change when I watch the scene again... or might not!! Anyway, glad he does in your story - and that is was all awkward and real quick!!!
