Got through a major hurdle on big bang! This one part took me eleven days to get past, most of which was me ignoring it and giving my head a rest from hitting it against a wall. There was just something 'not right' with it. Starting to get into the harder to conceptualize scenes of the story that are scattered throughout.

The goal meter looks cool, but I know I'm busting the 40 minimum limit. :D

[livejournal.com profile] everybetty and I began posting “Exhuming McCarthy” hope people give it a chance to unfold.

Have an idea for Teyla and John thing a thon. Friendship with some cool action aspects.

Plotting out the next Ronon and Sheppard adventure. This one looks like another joint fic with my awesome writing partner!

Oh muse, you really need to learn to take a vacation one day!

Writing progress:

“Exhuming McCarthy” is reaching that critical foot race to the end. [livejournal.com profile] everybetty and I hit 70,000 words and we're getting to that all important kick off to the climax chapter. If all goes well, I think we might begin posting at the end of the month. We'll create a new penname since its the both of us and I think we'll post three times a week. Since the chapters are long it'll give people time to read, us time to edit and polish and be enough updates to keep everyone happy. We hope :D

It's going to be interesting to see what people think of this one, there's not a lot of action, its mainly a drama with the central theme being a recovery fic with political undertones. We like it and I hope people will give it a chance.

My my [livejournal.com profile] sgabigbang story is coming along swimmingly with my latest update.

I think this one is going to be my all time favorite story because I'm really enjoying the challenge I set myself up style wise as well as the sheer amount of research I've done to make all the science work. It's been very satisfying because its a really in depth character study of Sheppard that doesn't depend upon my normal plot devices.

Wrote a few tricky action sequences, reaching the conclusion of the first big arc.

I have about seven 'sections' out lined and I'm almost at the end of the second one. Once I cross that, I'll begin the second arc of the story.

I'm giddy about getting to some really cool parts!!

I'm excited. I hit my first stopping point on my [livejournal.com profile] sgabigbang story. This is the first natural stopping place to sit back and reflect on what I've written so far. I'm feeling good about it.

I can't believe it, but all the ideas for the sgabigbang are flowing like crazy into a semi-rational train of thought. I have a basic skeleton in my head for the plot, there was/is a ton of brainstorming that had to go into this one.

More then any other of my stories, this fic deals with a ton of aspects, a true, multi-layered character study. I'm very excited.

I wouldn't be this close to writing my outline without [livejournal.com profile] rednz and [livejournal.com profile] d_odyssey as wonderful sounding boards!

All I need to do before creating a time line of events and is get all that pesky scientific research done. heh
