Sorry you hated it...I really loved it. I don't think Rodney left John to die, they knew he was there and they needed to collect the Wraith body for a cover-up..I think time was the big factor. This John lead a tragic life but in the end was redeemed...though I do like little coda, that allowed him to live on :D
