Glass Half Full

I'm still waiting on my new cell phone, sometime next week I've been told.
I got my paycheck, but of course by the time I did, the bank was closed and with MLK I will not have any real money till Tuesday. Though I am lucky and still have some cash from that advance.
The Saints and Colts won tonight! I'm rooting for New Orleans, I have that soft spot for the feel good story.
On the writing front I finished the one shot from hell. Its with my beta, with no rush as it ended up being at 10,000 words, though I have my 'list' to tackle. I'll post it everywhere once the person it was written for enjoys it.
If I recall there were a few months of one shots between longer projects, I need the time to find my way back. I like/need to write every day but large projects tend to zap things.
Will work on two more one shots this week, just to make sure the pallet is fresh and the bunnies have fed. I'm going to expand that GI Nick drabble for the fun of it.
And Yes, you knew it was coming. I got bit hard with a SGA one shot...if it works. I can see it, damn thing is all set in my head, but I say this a lot.....its 'different' .....or I hope. The fic writing in SGA is amazingly large and very well done. A lot of fine writers.
The "300" trailer aired during the game and I missed it. Wonder how well it played out in a 20 sec clip, could not imagine how they can capture the intensity of it.
