Writing

My eyes are burning. I had a good run tonight and typed about 1,500 words for the ficathon that were actually useful. I've made an effort to write more from other points of view and try to spread the love in this story. I'm tackling a lot of tense scenes and emotions and its taking me a lot longer to write then normal.

In the end thought I think I'm going to be pretty happy. I was hoping for more fast-paced stuff, but the characters want to be more introspective.

Pesky people.

However, I'm 6,500 words in and have four more sections. I'm trying to avoid splitting it up into two parts, I might squeak in under 12,000 words.

The long project with Beth is coming along we're at around 30,000 words and are 1/3 done...well close to a third. We're going with more of a drama edge and less action. I only hope people will enjoy a slower paced story. Its chocked full of characterization, but its pretty angsty with a decent sized mystery that I think people will dig. Maybe.


Okay, now do I edit...read or watch TV?

The thing is, when people look for stories, they always make it sound like badfic. Now, often that's because it really is badfic, but sometimes it's good and they just suck at describing the story.

So, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to summarize badly any one (or more!) of my stories and I'll try to guess which it is. You could even pretend you don't remember the pairing or fandom to make it harder to guess.
