Mutterings
Sep. 26th, 2009 04:35 pmWanted to thank everyone for the cheering up the other day, everyone helped out a lot!
I had to wear a light jacket to on the walk to work today, can you believe it? We even had the windows closed last night. It was great to see the army of squirrels out and about! They were so freaking cute!
This weekend I’m writing my last part of the SGA Big Bang. Got 9k written over a six day period and I think that tops a record for me! Although I must admit, writing scenes with a lot of Ronon and McKay is a freaking blast!
I was feeling nostalgic and hunted down the Nine Inch Nails performance at Woodstock 1994. I recall having a group of friends gather around my house to watch the pay per view (that lasted three days) and watching NIN come out covered in mud! This was their breakthrough performance to the world. Having been very nervous about playing to such a large crowd, one of them tripped on the way toward the stage that ended up in a mud flight, hence them covered in muck.
Trent hated his performance, he couldn’t hear and the mud started to dry on all their instruments. Oddly enough his anger juxtaposed into the stage performance.
If you had never seen NIN before, I'd think seeing them walk on stage in this video would have scared the hell out of you or made you an instant fan.
For anyone planning on playing it, the first clip is of the old footage then the guy starts over, showing the whole intro to demonstrate the re-mastered picture and sound.
