SGA Genficathon Sign Ups are Open!

Sign ups for the sga_genficathonhave started! This is one of my favorite writing challenges of the year. It is not an exchange and there is plenty of time to play!


Signups close on Friday, Feb. 26 Stories are due Saturday, May 22, and will begin posting anonymously on Monday, May 24


Choose from the following genres

-Supporting Character Appreciation Day

This year you can pick your own prompt or have one assigned and the minimum word count is 1000 words. Stories will be posted anonymously by the mods (authors to be revealed at end of ficathon). That is my favorite part, since I think we can be subconsciously biased at picking stories by familiar authors.

"Red Sands" Week Eight

Chapter twelve is done. It's in tatters and it kind of resembles words, but the toughest section of the whole story, the make it break chapter for me. Is finished.

I work eight days in a row next, so not sure how much progress will be made, but I'm giddy that one of the biggest hurdles has been leaped.
