Random Update

It has been a whirl wind the last few days. I've been sick off and on for the last two weeks with this sinus/allergy thing. I'm leaving in a week to visit my mom and finally have a few days with no schedules or stress and I can't wait! :D

I have fallen hard for “Justified' thanks to ann_tara's suggestion and the fact that everybetty taped the first two episodes. I haven't been drawn into a new show like this in a while and I'm instantly in love with the writing, tone, and acting. If you like modern westerns set in small towns with a hero with an attitude and shady past, you'll enjoy this show. It's based on the character of U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens from Elmore Leonard's novels "Pronto" and "Riding the Rap" and stars Timothy Olyphant.

I tell you cable shows are where the good writing is!

I'm also watching Discovery Channel's “Life” right now which is awesome.

Spent the night with everybetty where was fangirled on Season Two of SGA and outlined two stories for help_haiti. The person who made a donation in all our names, was very open to us co-writing something together. We were going to do one long fic, but upon our brainstorming session realized we had two stories ideas we both loved, but were very different in tone and direction. I might spill a few beans about them when we start them sometime in April.
