Trent and Atticus Won!

Trent Reznor and Atticus Rose won the Golden Globe award for best score for a film for "The Social Network'!

And he was there to accept it, being all humble and wonderful in a tux! Congrats Trent.

Trent and Atticus Ross will be scoring the soundtrack for David Fincher's version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo next.

New Squee--I've joined the H5O train.

I'm not a pack follower when it comes to TV shows. I didn't get into White Collar or Merlin. Sanctuary hasn't really grabbed me and I was a very late comer to Criminal Minds.

I resisted all the H5O posts only because it felt too slick and patterned. But, I finally caved and watched the first three eppys. In a row. And I was happy and giddy and smiling!

I admit, Danno's head is too large for his body and it's still a source of distraction, but his personality is fun. He manages to balance the snark without overdoing it because it could get annoying fast.

I do LOVE Steve. All that self confidence, bad assed attitude, and being a former military man hits all my buttons. He also is reminiscent of a certain colonel. And yes, the team won me over, the love and banter which is what has really sold me on this show. Kono and Chin are awesome, (even if I don't know how a young surfer is supposed to know kung-fu moves)

I have many other eppys to watch and I don't want to do it too quickly because than I'll run out, but I'm happy to have gotten into it. It's a fun popcorn show with explosions and gunfights and team! Thanks to everyone for encouraging me to watch it.

Oddly enough it has put my muse back into writing SGA fic which I found very, very strange indeed! But then again, SGA is still my fandom of choice, but it is nice to have something new :D
