Shuttle Launch

My brother-in-law drove from D.C. to Florida so my niece could see the final launch. I know the weather is very iffy, but they went ahead and fueled it hopes there might be a window between storms. (If, not here's to tomorrow) Joe has family near Cocoa Beach and they're taking a boat out on a river for a perfect view. He's going to film it.

Wish them luck! My niece is six so she's very excited.

I've been waiting for "Miracle Day" the new Torchwood series for a long time, but I forgot to program my Tivo. Just realized it came on.... twenty minutes into the season premiere. Actually it was hubby who remembered.

No big deal, it's getting repeated a million times, but I think it ironic that something I've looked forward to, completely slipped my mind. *sigh*

I need a Captain Jack icon.
