A Few Research Links
Mar. 5th, 2012 01:00 pmI thought I'd share a few research links today.
I found this link
useful in writing little details for my
casestory story. It has a list of police codes as well as the phonetic alphabet for calling out license plate numbers that I thought might be helpful for other writers. (as
mmneely932helpfully pointed out, different states use different police codes, so you might want to look for that specific's state, but there's still some useful stuff here)
Also here are two really useful resources on Navy SEALs that I've used in the past.
This link has infomation how Navy SEALs operate, the skills they need, and the types of equipment they use on missions.
And this article briefly goes over the eighteen months of platoon training that SEAls go through after BUDs. It is a good starting point if you want to do more research.
Finally, since it's Monday, I thought a random H50 gif was in order! Enjoy!
