I'm one of those waiting until all chapters of Red Sands is up, then I'm going to print it and read it in one go. Not something I normally do but I'm trying hard to spend less time on the Internet, and I know your story will suck me in until I end up spending the whole day reading every chapter ;)
I love Criminal Minds. It took a bit of time for me to get really sucked in (I, too, was reluctant due to the violence) but I love how they handle the darkness and I adore the characters. It's also one of the few shows my entire family (well, the ones still at home) is into.
I noticed that the trend for the genficathon seemed to be writing something different from what the authors usually write. I was very surprised by who wrote what and way off on my guesses. It makes me feel a tad annoyed with my own story. Though it was fun to write, I think there was a lot more I could have done with the prompt, but inspiration-wise I was in a bad head space so wrote the first thing to pop into my mind.
