It does sound like a somewhat decent plot. I'm not a fan of SY Fy movies, but the co-production company is responsible for "Tin Man " and "Alice". While not as big budget, I don't think Joe would do a 'Evil Penguins from Space' type movie.
And the part really does seem to suit him and us!!
