I worked eight days in a row with crazy hours only to wake up with a wicked fever and sore throat. I stayed up late last night and could feel the odd body muscle aches--but this sucks! It's my day off, damn it.

I'm sorry to hear you're not well. Drink a lot, take vitamin C, aspirin, maybe you could try some inhalation (hot water + a handful of salt) - it does help me when I have a sore throat. And rest.

That sucks big time. Why is it when you take time off, you pay for it upon returning to work. 8 days and now sick on your day off? Really bites. Shouldn't count as a day off if you're sick. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry to hear you're sick, especially on your day off. I'm never sure what's worse, having to work when you're so sick all you want to do is sleep or ruining your days off with it. Either one sucks like lemons. Hopefully you can at least have some nice dreams of a certain Lt. Colonel while you're sleeping.
