***nods***
Can fully relate as I am in blue area.
It was 18 last night here and snow on the ground this morning when I woke up.
I am not certain I will be able to do Thanksgiving given my sister's inlaws are at higher elevation than I am........
My friend in WA told me they had overnight of -2 and tonight expected to hit -12 to -15 so I suppose 18 is positively balmy eh???
They are calling for cold again tonight but clear, but the sky is looking very suspicious right now.
We often have 'Arctic express' and this was one of them...........
We went from beginning of fall to winter quickly this year.
Fortunately I had an insulation upgrade last year so I guess I should not be surprised furnace is not cycling as often as it did in winter of '08.....
Just in time.
BTW Sheppard would love this weather since he liked
Antarctica so much
:D
