I love how you write action sequences and weave in the military terms to make it feel like I'm actually there.
Stories where they show John as a competent soldier are my favorites, and i loved the way that he instantly became vulnerable once he was injured. It felt more real than him trying to push through the pain.
Loved the teams dedication in trying to save him and the ride back to Atlantis was tense.
Also nice to see a story told from Teyla's point of view.
