When I saw your request it made me chuckle since I was almost done with this story for Susan. It was like the two of you were seeking the same thing and I had to give you a heads up.
It was surprisingly difficult to find information on base commanders, but a few quires, it really was impressive what their responsibilities entailed and I'm glad to have been able to weave them a bit here.
