I can't believe it took me this long to come to your LJ page. You are one of my favorite SGA writers and this little gem you just wrote for H50?? FANTASTIC.
This is, hands down, the BEST H50 fic I've read so far, and I've read a lot of them. I don't read slash, so that cuts out a bunch of the possible reads, and I favor Steve the most and definitely prefer hurt/comfort Steve fics. So, this story just had it ALL.
You nailed all the characters and painted the entire story perfectly for me with your descriptions. They weren't too much and they weren't too little. I loved how you delved into Steve's life as a SEAL and how hard it is to adjust to his new job and lifestyle, because it is so true.
You simply HAVE to continue writing H50 stories! Though, don't forget about SGA and our lovely Sheppard, either! :)
I do have a little concept/idea for a H50 story that I'd love to see written, and I think you'd be the perfect person to write it, if you are willing to listen and maybe give the idea a go? Let me know.
