Wow! The first half was exciting and then part two managed to ratchet up the tension even more. It would have made a wonderfully exciting and dramatic episode. I could see it all playing out so clearly. Many choices were made in the writing of this story that were just so right. I loved that Kono and Chin played a part in their own rescue. Steve knowing he did have a limit, knowing when he reached it, and the telling Danny was perfect. Steve finally accepting the medication and letting his team take care of him (and what was left of the mission) was a turning point that fit well with someone who knows what has to be done and when it has to be done. The characterization was totally nailed.
You have a knack for combining solid action/drama with teaminess and h/c and it feeds my addiction well.
This story was beautifully written. It captured all that I love and squee about in relation to H50 and took me to a very happy place.
