Thank you so much for all your cheer leading at the start!! I don't know the hours...there were so many, but I had close to 40 sources for this story and the wonderful mischief5 did a lot of fact-checking for me :D You know me--I think details give that edge of realism if done right.

It was fun writing the slow burn. For me, it speaks of human nature.
The hypothermia section was a big button for me. My favorite scene to write was when Danny rested his head on Steve's chest in the infirmary.
