You know how much I liked this already. Even though I knew the story, I was still looking forward to enjoying the actual posting and was well-rewarded for the wait. This just doesn't get old. I think that's because in addition to an intriguing plot, which really drew me into this chapter, the character portrayals are so strong here. Re-reading is like getting to watch a favorite episode all over again and enjoying all the nuances.
I really loved the way we caught glimpses of what happened to Steve through the video - tiny snatches that unveiled information and were soooo Steve - like knocking that cap off - oh, Steve.
Great use of Catherine and I like her being written as a plausible match for Steve - smart and strong.
