LJ decided to crash on me last night, effectively obliterating my review for this part (not to mention that I once again had to go to bed with Steve still in Maslov's hands - and I came so close to reading the rescue scene! *whines*). If you heard some vague screaming and cursing from the direction of Germany last night, it was likely me. ;-)
Okay, here's what I remember of my review:
I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed your angry Chin! Seeing him really angry is a rare treat. ;-)
I guess I really don't want to imagine how Steve's feeling and what kind of scary place he's trapped in inside of his mind right now. *hugs him* I hope he somehow remembers his Team will come for him.
Okay, scratch what I said about Noshimuri, I'm definitely not feeling grateful towards him any longer. He's obviously in this for his own gain. He's really a sick guy for rubbing in what exactly might happen to Steve after he was 'sold' (I really hate the mere thought of someone 'buying' Steve, not to mention I don't even want to imagine what they'd be doing to him after they have him). I loved what Danny was willing to do for Steve, and Chin and Kono ambushing him and insisting to take their part of the responsibility - this is so much them, it's just what I can see them do to save Steve. They'd be willing to do whatever it takes. The auction itself made me smile a little in the middle of all the tension, because it reminded me so much of eBay. ;-) I would have done exactly the same as Adam did, being an eBay veteran.
The mere idea of Steve getting eliminated by a SEAL Team is so very, very wrong. I'm glad Danny was able to convince Khalid - when he showed up after the auction, he almost gave me a heart-attack. ;P
I absolutely loved Danny, Kono, and Chin channelling Steve and arming themselves to the teeth - Steve will definitely be proud once he hears about it. *g* It must be such a relief for them to finally be able to go and get Steve back! *cheers them on* I can't wait to see them in action (but of course I'll have to *hates RL*). One thing's for sure, I wouldn't want to try and stand in their way! :D
