Steve has devoted himself to a life of sacrifice and duty. It's his code and I thought it was important that he admit that he'd been afraid to Grace, that recognizing what we fear so we can face it was an important lesson. And I could just see him giving her those lessons to help empower her. To me it was very Steve.
