Thanks for clarifying. :) I did note the shields scene, but I guess it's just me being a dork as when Beckett registered the readings, I had amused it was *inside* the compartment (where Shep was lying unconsious) rather than *outside* the ship. *doh!* If it's outside, it makes perfect sense. Glad you didn't mind me asking as I normally don't like to ask questions about a story for fear of the writer taking it the wrong way. But this story was so good, which made me want to know... em..., not sure whether *that* made any sense at all, but hope you get what I mean...
