Oh....and never used to write in present tense until this year. I find it makes writing action scenes and any intense situations crisper because its so 'now'..that make any sense?
I think anything longer than 25,000 I tend to stick to 3rd person, but right now I'm writing this very, go, go, go action story and the present tense makes writing the fighting stuff and or the gun battles a litle easier.
