Saw this on a couple places

Instructions:
Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line of lyrics for the first songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.(I did first two lines)
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Post the answer when someone guesses correctly. No cheating! :)

I did this meme awhile back. I find this one quite fun. :D

6. "All Along the Watchtower" - and it's been covered by a million people. Hendrix? Dylan?

7. That's Sting and the Police, but I can't remember the name of the song. (Just to make me feel like an idiot, it's probably "Little Black Spot" or something like that.)

10. Crap! I know which song that is, and remember most of the lyrics; I just don't know the name or the artist! "Carry Each Other"? Maybe? Okay, I know that doesn't count.

14. "Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd

Oh! It's New Order that sings it, isn't it?

Danged if I know what the title is, though, if it's not Morning Sun. It's one of those stupid songs that the title's never actually in, isn't it?

I'm definitely going to be, erm, researching a few of these later. Some of those lines are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the songs (I'm always in need of a few good ones, since I'm so sadly Top 40)!

I'd have to say most of those songs are mid 90's because honestly, there hasn't been very much good music released post 2000 except for a few bands.

Though I'm very anti-pop...(ducks) except for some stuff produced by Timberland who has a wicked sense for beats.

Though I like everything from NIN to Portishead and Tool to Pink Floyd

Sorry, I've very music orientated..mananged a Best Buy Media department for years and used to work venue promotions.

lol

Haha, being anti-pop isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means you have a much more diverse love of music than me. Most of what I listen to I've either heard on the radio or on movie/tv soundtracks. I've found myself leaning a lot towards classic rock lately, I blame it on Supernatural.
