Wow and I have to wait till April???
Just a few quick reactions.





Of course I begin to like Hendrickson and he dies, but at least they didn't drag anything out about him not believing them.

Also kudos for keeping the commercials until the end.

So Lilith's eyes were white...and there's a ton of mythos on her, Adam's first wife. A Sumerian goddess, or a demon as well as god's messenger during a day of reckoning.

Yay for more meta and a ton of crap the boy's will have to deal with.

I really hope they kill Bela, she deserves nothing...and Ruby has become more and more interesting.

Overall a great tense, exciting, all Hell breaks loose episode. I was frantic, my husband was frantic and even exclaimed "I love this show!" Claiming HBO should snatch up SPN.

It even had the 28 Days score going on during the big battle and I loved the mass exorcisms

Tell you what, if HBO or one of the pay cable channels DID snatch it up, SPN would have a WWAAAAY bigger budget. Or even if Fox snatched it; what they've done with Sara Connor Chronicles (and it's a Warner Bros show too) is really good.

LOL. Right from the get-go, about 10 minutes in, my husband looked at me and said, 'LOVE THIS SHOW! This is going to kick some serious butt tonight!'

So yea, he was right, though it was nothing new to me. We watched the repeat of Night Shifter that was on before, still a great ep too. But tonight's ep was WAAAAAY the best one of this season!! Bar none.

Did you notice how Sam didn't dispute Ruby's insistence that the virgin girl die to save them all? Notice how Dean was like, 'NO! No one's killing any virgins tonight!' Paraphrasing, but all the virgin references were hilarious, right up to when Nancy said that after it was over she was going to have lots and lots of sex. ROFL.

Bela (sighs) I hate her more and more and more. Kripke has it planned that way, I realize that... but UGH! She needs to die a really nasty horrid death at the hands of Lillith. I wonder if she knows about Lillith from her circle of people. I doubt she's going to sell the colt. I'm thinking she wanted it to protect herself from the demon's, the war I think she knows is emminent.

Kripke said in an interview that one of the eps they didn't get to shoot, due to the strike, was a Bela focused ep that was to give us her backstory and a chance at redemption. He's very aware fans hate her but the strike timed wrong. Hopefully, with them back up in Canada and filming, when they come back in at the END of April *sighs .. that's too LONG!* they will hopefully get to shoot that ep. But personally, I'm liking the hating-her vibe I'm feeling. She needs to die. I don't want to like her any more. I'm not sure there's anything that Kripke can do at this point to redeem her. And if they find a way? Kripke is a god.

Sera Gamble wrote tonights ep. She's just by far and away my favorite writer for SPN. Edlund is good, but Sera's my fav.

Well, lets set our alarms to April 24 when the last of the season returns- I think there are either 4 or 5 eps to finish up, before summer's hiatus. Then, lets cross our fingers that in May, when the networks announce the shows that are renewed for another season, that SPN makes the list. *crosses fingers*

Though, that's one thing the strike did; no new shows were pitched for Fall 2008 so there won't be an awful lot for the CW to put out in its place, so I'm thinking SPN is safe for a 4th season.

I'm loving these slow, building changes in the brothers and yes I was all aware of Sam's , its okay to make a sacrifice to save the rest...Sam's loosing his empathy, becoming harder, toughening up in the shadow of being alone in the hunt when Dean dies.

The virgin stuff was a hoot! I asked my husband if he thought Dean would sleep with Nancy and were both oh heck yes. And her.. I'm going to have lots of sex comments!

Damn Nancy we hardly knew you!

I don't want to like Bela, Ruby I'm fine with but Bela has screwed with the guys too many times, I don't want to find some thread of redemption It'd become a cliche if she end up being decent..

What else did Sera write?

I think SPN is the 3rd highest rated show on the network..right? Here is to season 4!

That was a kick-butt episode. And so very twisted. Trying not to kill one to save everyone, yet losing everyone anyways. (Did everyone die, or just those in the police station? I wasn't quite sure.) Yes, Ruby keeps getting more and more interesting.

I think Bella's up to something that has nothing to do with money. These are just some of my theories, but she either plans to use the colt for revenge, to save someone, or - maybe - to protect herself. Whatever the case, I just hope she gets her come-uppance.

Ugh, April? A whole month? Why do they do this to us, why!

I know teh fallout of this, the whole which plan would save the most, yet loosing so many lives regardless is heart breaking.

I have no clue what Bela is up to, I mean it would be one thing to protect someone, but she set Dean and Sam up for prison for life...thats pretty unforgivable in addition to all her other crap.

The delay is b/c of the strike, that was the last eppy written/produced before it took place.
