This was a tough one, which means sadly I need to go outside more vs visiting museums. I visited the ruins at Chichen Itza and I was enthralled the entire time I was there. Despite the oppressive heat, the idea I was walking the same soil of such a great civilization and touching/exploring structures that had been standing for such long period of time was mesmerizing.
It was a thrilling experience be to out in the middle of the Yucatan and breathing the air of the great Mayans. Really made me want to go 'out' more into the world and I still hope I can soon.

I have always said that touching an ancient object/structure for me is like touching time... It blows my mind. I sometimes cry at the thought of visiting the Rift Valley in Africa, or the Pyramids.
