I'm shocked in a weird way. They did it. I thought it was the only way possible with the whole season based on Dean's deal and it NEEDED to end that way. Anything else would have been seen as a 'cop out' so they killed Dean and he's in Hell.

I'm still feeling kind of numb b/c being ripped open by the Hellhounds like that was just..OMG. You know? Then Sam's face, his brother dead. And last scene scene of Dean ala Hellraiser, held together with chains going through him.

So did Sam some how Stop Lialth? Will Dean fight his way out of Hell or will Sam use his powers to get him out? And after that, how will something like this effect both of them...

Is it Sept 4ht yet??

Oh, man, me and my sister were all "Oh, Dean, poor, poor Dean!" at the end. Seriously, I got misty-eyed. But man that was intense.

Now we're having fun speculating. My sister wants Dean to escape and become Demon Dean... which would be cool, I suppose, but not quite as fun as she may think since he'll be in someone else's body. But that would be interesting.

What I'm thinking is Sam somehow finding his way down to hell. Not fire and brimstone hell but, maybe, some place that plays mindgames and that really tries to tear Sam apart soul-wise as he searches for Dean... or something.

There's just so much potantiel! I think even Dean's day in hell and Sam's day trying to get him out of hell by searching for some spell while going nuts and fighting monsters would be awesome.

I'm thinking Dean finds Ruby and they make it back the way she does, battling demons on the way?

Or they find a gate, but then what? How does his soul get returned or how does his body get repaired after being mauled?

Maybe the trickster, but thats a cop out too. Whatever happens we'll have Sam with powers and I think a very different Dean after being tortured in hell.

Of course I still want to know where Bobby was? What happened to the Colt and how was it Sam wasn't hurt my liath?

First off: *flail*

I'm happy they stuck with Dean dying, for pretty much the same reasons. Anything else would have been completely made of lame. On the other hand... Dean - dead. And that's just sad.

As for the question of Sam v. Lilith. I have a feeling she was trying to take his powers away from him or something and it backfired, like, majorly. Because not only did she not get his power, but she doesn't seem to have any power over him anymore either.

And yeah, Sam's totally going to master his new demon powers (maybe Ruby will show up in a new body or something), and is going to go into Hell and take Dean. Or maybe he'll make a deal with Lilith not to kill her, if she gives him Dean's contract or something.

It did have some plotholes since Bobby just vanished and now Dean's body is toast.

Yeah I think Ruby will be involved, helping Dena on Hel's side? Whiel Sam 'powers up"? Whatever happens its not going to be pretty.
