I lost my internet and cable connection for twenty-four hours..wow, I am an ADDICT!

What to do wth no TV or the net? Well I read, watched my NIN concert DVD and got 3,000 words written without the normal distractions!

Hmmmm perhaps it was a good thing :D

Will try to catch up reading and news later tonight.

3000 words is awesome! Maybe it was a good thing, as I can attest to the internet being very distracting last night.

You know the thing that bothered me the most was thinking I ditched you during our planned write off!

Actually I couldn't remember if yesterday was the the first day your mom was in town, so it was cool. I'm thinking I needed my brain needed a night off since it refused all attempts at progress.

I have equally as much to go, so I would love to meet up tonight if possible. I've wound up writing 1800 words of random snarky fluff this morning, so yes! I need focus!

And during that time you feel you really, really, really need/need/have to check your email! I gave up cable TV a little while back and realized how much of a time suck it could be, especially when I was flipping through channels trying to find something to watch, although maybe hitting refresh on certain pages is almost as bad!

I can understand a little net withdrawal, but TV is sooo abysmal right now, except maybe for CNN, that well, with all the t-storms coming through here, it doesn't bother me to unplug the tv (we got one fried, so it never stays plugged in during storms anymore). however, i'll scream bloody murder if power goes out on friday nights at 10pm starting 7/11 ;)

Yeah I don't tend to watch TV b ut hubby does..mainly discovery, history..etc....but no net, almost killed me!

That's funny because I lost my connection as well just the other day. I would agree that it is a good thing. I'll usually manage writing a few paragraphs a day, but this time was able to complete half a chapter. I need to stay off the Net more often :D
