Hi, I got your review response and I am sorry if I was ambiguous in my review. I did love the story. It really disturbed so I don't think I would ever read it again but that is a compliment to your writing skill. I hear you on the rating thing. I wasn't really thinking about kids reading it when I said it was M. I just meant warning people that is quite adult themed in the more sophisticated rather than porny sense. I'm giving adult the same meaning as I would in describing works like The Lottery by Shirley Jackson or An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by William Faulkner or something of a similar level of subtlety and darkness as adult. To me that kind of thing is scarier than any horror movie because it never leaves you. Kudos on it being so disturbing in such a skilled way.

Thank you. Like I said...if ff.net wouldn't do the stupid things they do with the M filter I would change the rating and I wish there was a way to reflect for violence or sex.

I added this :

Warning again. This does have strong suggestive tones in regards to violence that some might find disturbing. And underlined the warning part.

It's all good. And appreciate your reaction. This was written for this project only....as you know I don't tend to write such stories. It was a huge challenge to keep the reader in the dark like that and well, it reflected my mood of late. (lol)

However, I'll get back to my normal fare...I had a nice comfort fic I wrote before this..but I'm not allowed to post it elsewhere until the next one is up..its also on my LJ.

It should cheer you up!

It has comfort...and a bit of creepiness, but nothing that dark, promise. :D

Take care-
Kristen

And thanks for taking the time for the note.
