The new Guns N Rose CD "Chinese Democracy" actually comes out on 11/23/08. Is this a sign of the end of the world? How long has this been in 'the making' twelve years? Not buying it, but made me do a double take.

I like the idea of going back aways, new cast with the familiar feel. I'm not sure if I like what I've seen of this or if I'm causiously nervous.




As many have learned. Someone attacked Jason Moma and hit him with a glass beer bottle. Al we know is that the guy has been charged and that Jason received over 140 stitches and reconstructive surgery. My thoughts and prayers go to him and his family. Its just shocking.

He’s on the mend, in usual high spirits, and looking forward to eventually coming down to Vancouver and kicking some alien ass. I haven't been to JM's blog in a while, so thanks for sharing that news about Jason Momoa. It's wonderful to hear that he is doing well and is on the mend. What a horrible act against a genuinely nice guy. (Whatever the disagreement was about, there is never cause for such violence. That creep must have been messed up in the head.) Reconstructive surgery doesn't sound so good, but I know those surgeons can work wonders. I hope Jason doesn't suffer any lasting reminders on his handsome face. I read the guy has a prior conviction and used to carry a fire arm. As you said, no matter the issue, to take a bottle and use it as a weapon...is disgusting.

I really hope that he got a good plastic surgeon...its not vanity its his livelihood.

heh... I heard that none of the original members are left - not original gnr I mean, but the ones he got together for this album. I guess they couldn't stand axl's temper.

despite that, I heard the album is pretty good.


oh, and sucks about jm. hope he's ok.

I'm not realy too impressed from what I heard and this is coming from a huge Old gnr fan...lol..but people can strike it off the list of 'will it ever happen?'

Well, I wouldn't say I'm all that "in". I'm just really lucky. One of my mom's best friends from LA is Mary Jo Markey, who is a big time film editor (Mission Impossible III, Lost, Alias...). She's worked with JJ before and they're kinda friends. Now she's one of the two head editors on Trek, and we hang out and she's kind of taken me under her wing.

Which means meeting some cool people and doing cool "Hollywood" stuff. Haha, whenever I hang out with her I feel so awesome. It's soooo nerdy of me. I know. But it also makes me happy.

Journalism! I'll take note of that. XD If I ever find something, you'll be the first to know! ♥

Well, I did find out a couple of cool facts:

Damon Lindelof (co-creator of Lost and one of the main writers), uses the phrase "cool beans," which is just awesome.

The voice of the cop at the beginning of the trailer that says "What's your name kid" is actually JJ.

Heeeee! Okay, night time! The goal is to try to get to sleep before the pain in my mouth gets any worse (first time I put my bottom retainer in for... a long, loooong, time).
