Writing of sorts.

Where has the week gone? Been buried by work, which is fine. Makes the day go by really fast. What I like about my job is I only have to check in with two of my bosses at the start of the day then I work alone in my office most of the time I go downstairs to the main floor a lot, but for the most part I don't deal with customers. I decide when to work on what project and at what pace. And I can listen to my music.
Pretty cool. Wish pay was something even half way decent, but I won't complain.
Things on the writing front have been crazy. I've spent the last couple of weeks writing my genficathon. It's a fun change of pace for me, but I'll be glad it when its done! I was on such a roll with my long John and Ronon project then had to shift gears and it was a tad frustrating, but that's what happens when you sign up for things :-P
The last Fic writing contest is also drawing to a close soon.. The new round is up and running and I'm in the wonderful company of the lovely

It's amazing the time devoted to this contest. I spend three days writing, re-writing, and editing each entry and there's a new round almost every ten days. It is a lot of work, but I've enjoyed the challenge.
I love being involved in both side protects, but I'll be happier when I can focus on a single fic.
I also wanted to wish my F-List who observe Passover and Easter a nice holiday.

Date: 2009-04-11 01:15 am (UTC)Gah...writing just hasn't been coming naturally to me at the moment. I've set myself an absoloute epic to write and i never seem to have the time to do it.
Glad all your fics are coming along nicely and good luck with the final challenge for LFWS.
